Job Hours: 40 Hrs/Wk; M-F 8am-5pm, with rotating Saturdays
Salary: $31.51 – $43.71 / hour
Description:  
       

Summary of Essential Duties:

Medically evaluates and asses patients; determine, establish, and administer an overall treatment plans for patients; determines clinical need for medications, and prescribes medications as part of treatment plan; provide acute and chronic care to medically underserved by utilizing the most cost effective approach; document and maintains appropriate medical records on all patients in accordance with policy.

Education:

Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program specific to the expanded specialty of family nurse practitioner.

 

Experience:

One year of responsible nurse practitioner experience.

 

Substitution: An equivalent combination of experience and training, demonstrating the required knowledge and abilities, is qualifying.

 

Special Requirements:

State of Oregon Registered Nurse license at time of appointment. Possession of Prescriptive Privilege Certification by the State of Oregon may be required. Drug Enforcement Agency number will be required. NPI number at the time of appointment.

This position is subject to a full criminal offender information record check. If fingerprinting is required, the fee is paid for by the successful candidate and the expense is non-reimbursable.

Knowledge of:

Documentation procedures for charting and reporting physical and mental status of patients. Assess and treat patients reporting health problems. Interpret results of analyses and tests and provide treatment modalities. Manage a caseload of patients.

 

Ability to:

Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
